Second Chance of Orangeburg Animal Rescue Coalition

We are a non-profit, volunteer, and currently a foster based rescue. We appreciate every volunteer, foster and donor, you are like angels to the animals in need.

 

There are many ways to volunteer, whether it is to walk a foster, bathe, play or help with trips to the vet. Every bit of positive interaction helps these animals come out of their shell and open up more. Many don't know what love is and it is our job to insure that they, not only experience love, but also kindness, friendship and compassion that we have to offer. It also helps insure they find the perfect home for them.

 

Ways to volunteer: ​

• Becoming a Foster. Fostering helps us be able to place many animals in temporary loving homes that are ready to do what they can to give these guys a fighting chance to find a forever home. Plus, it helps many of them experience love, compassion and kindness that they may not have experienced before.

• Walking, Bathing and Playing with these awesome and wonderful pets!

• Building. There will be times where we are able to help a family fence in their yard, or parts of it, to better keep a loving pet off chains and safe from harm. (Unchain Orangeburg County Program)

• Events. We do hold events to gather proceed to pay for vet bills, food and more. Examples like Paint and Sips, Yard sales, Bake sales, etc.
