Somebody Somewhere knows Something

Cruelty, Abuse, and Neglect...

We say "How horrible", we try to ignore the problem, we cry because of the pain and suffering it causes... Now it's time to face this horrific subject head-on and say NO MORE!!! No more suffering, No more pain, now we stop talking and take the action needed.

Some Say:

  • There is nothing we can do about these crimes.

  • Doesn't matter, I've called animal control a dozen times, and no one has responded.

  • No one cares.

  • I Hate it, but what can I do?

  • I'm afraid to say anything I might get hurt.

Second Chance of Orangeburg Animal Rescue Coalition says:

  • Yes, if we work together to develop an all-inclusive campaign, we can save innocent lives from unimaginable acts of cruelty, abuse, and neglect.

  • Animal Control needs more staff and funding to respond to all the calls regarding this subject. We can help support their efforts.

  • So many care, they just don't know how to help.

  • Join us, help us fight cruelty, abuse, and neglect, there will be something we can all do. You can give as little or as much time as you can give, but please do something.

  • Anonymous tip line will prevent the abuser from knowing your name.

We are working to implement and develop a comprehensive campaign to combat this problem from several different angles. But it will take all of us who care to make change happen.

We are looking to bring together an entire community to fight acts of inhumanity against loving, sweet souls who devote their lives to us. We are asking local businesses and industry, churches, schools, and civic groups to listen to a brief presentation that will help you decide how you can become a partner in our Somebody Somewhere knows Something anti-cruelty, abuse and neglect campaign. We will come to you.

Business and Industry can help by forming an employee group, a compassionate group of individuals who also think it's time to take action. Churches can ask members of their congregation to help us implement the steps needed to fight this horror. Schools can form clubs, with the energy and passion of young people working with us, we can make change happen and civic organizations can adopt this program and fight for life.

Can one person, doing one act of compassion make a difference in ending unimaginable pain and suffering? Yes, they can.

One voice can be loud, and a few will hear it, many voices saying the same thing can be heard around the world. Will you add your voice to this much-needed campaign? Will you be the voice of the voiceless? If your answer is yes, or you want to hear more, please complete the following questionnaire. It will be sent to our email at Secondchanceanimalrescue2013@gmail.com and our founder's email at cbs1008@aol.com.

Examples of how you, your employees, congregation, students, and civic members can help.

  • Help with a comprehensive marketing campaign. Guerrilla marketing states that a message needs to be sent 18 times before the receiver notices the message... Our campaign should be all-inclusive print media, radio, television, social media, billboards, posters, and flyers. You can do a little or a lot.

  • Presentations, we will need individuals comfortable speaking before crowds of people.

  • Help establish a tip line on social media.

  • Help build a reward fund to be distributed when information leads to the arrest and conviction of the abuse.

  • Join our steering committee to help develop, implement and oversee the programs needed to fight the fight.

  • A coordinator of volunteers.

  • Fold letters and stuff envelopes, put up posters, distribute flyers, man booths at local events,  and answer emails.

  • Help establish media campaigns.

  • Share the success stories or rescued abused animals now living happy and loving lives.
