Below is a list of programs we currently have running to help raise funds and help those in need!

Brick by Brick, Step by Step Fundraiser

  We are looking for a new home.

A permanent sanctuary that will provide safety and care that rescued homeless pets require until they find their forever homes. A sanctuary that can provide a play area, a meet and greet area, a quarantine area, and a separate area for cats and possibly other animals. A sanctuary that can provide not only an outdoor kennel for each pet, but also an indoor space to sleep and come out of the water in. Our sanctuary will be a place of love and care. Each rescued pet will be and will know, they are safe and have all of their needs met.

   To begin our Capital campaign, we are starting with a Brick by Brick, Step by Step fundraising campaign.

   You can help by purchasing a paver, each paver will include your name.

$50 for Small and $100 for Large

The large pavers can also be purchased in honor or memory of a person or pet and it will include their name on the paver.

Working Cats Program

Got Rodents?

Consider adopting a working cat! The goal of this program is to eliminate the need to euthanize feral cats. A program that places outdoor cats where they can provide rodent control services in exchange for basic care.

Unchain Orangeburg County

Often, a pet owner feels they have no choice but to chain their pet close to their home...

Maybe they cannot afford a fence or a pin, but they do love their pet and try to care for them.

You can change the life of a chained pet by:

  • Donating Fencing

  • Donating a couple of hours to build a fence

  • Donate the funds to buy fencing material

  • Help identify a dog and family in need

 

We are willing to help unchain a dog's soul, will you help us in doing so?

Spay and Neuter Financial Assistance Program

Spaying and neutering pets, save lives.

Tens of thousands of pets lose their lives each year because of over breeding, overpopulated shelters, and the lack of resources.

But, We are currently offering financial assistance to pet owners that cannot afford to spay or neuter their pet. We are beginning slowly with this program, maybe two pets a month or more, depending on funding.

 If you donate to this program, your entire gift will be used for this cause. There are no overhead costs. Every pet this rescue has helped or helps in the future is because of you, the donors, and supporters.

Somebody Somewhere knows Something

Cruelty, Abuse, and Neglect...

Some Say:

  • There is nothing we can do about these crimes.

  • Doesn't matter, I've called animal control a dozen times, and no one has responded.

  • No one cares.

  • I Hate it, but what can I do?

  • I'm afraid to say anything I might get hurt.

Second Chance of Orangeburg Animal Rescue Coalition says:

  • Yes, if we work together to develop an all-inclusive campaign, we can save innocent lives from unimaginable acts of cruelty, abuse, and neglect.

  • Animal Control needs more staff and funding to respond to all the calls regarding this subject. We can help support their efforts.

  • So many care, they just don't know how to help.

  • Join us, help us fight cruelty, abuse, and neglect, there will be something we can all do. You can give as little or as much time as you can give, but please do something.

  • Anonymous tip line will prevent the abuser from knowing your name.
